Welcome to Cleddau Reach VC Primary School!

Cleddau Reach Taste of Pembrokeshire Awards

Welcome to our school website. I hope that it will be informative and helpful for present and prospective parents and also future visitors and local community members.

Cleddau Reach is a Church of Wales Voluntary Controlled Primary School where the Christian faith provides inspiration for our ethos and values. The school was established in September 2010 following the amalgamation of the former Burton VC Primary School and Llangwm VC Primary School. In April 2013 the school moved to the new school buildings and grounds near to the Deerland Road in Llangwm. The new building provides a modern, stimulating and very well equipped learning environment.

All our staff and governors work very hard to ensure that each child who attends Cleddau Reach is encouraged to be a happy, secure and valued member of our school community. Each individual child brings unique skills and experiences into school.

Cleddau Reach Primary provides a wide variety of high quality learning opportunities within a modern and well equipped school environment. In this way we aim to provide all our children with the skills and attitudes needed to become increasingly independent learners who approach new challenges with enthusiasm. We seek to foster effective relationships between children, staff and parents in order for our objectives to be achieved. In this way the school seeks to maintain high standards of learning within a safe, caring and happy environment.

As Headteacher I am very proud of our school and the efforts of our staff, children, governors and parents to maintain and further develop an exciting and highly effective school community.

Please learn more about our school by exploring the website. The School Prospectus answers many of the questions parents might have about the school and there are also individual class pages which provide information specific to particular classes. The site also aims to be topical by providing access to copies of information letters, key policies, and a diary of school events. Mr N Groves, Headteacher
